Step 1: Open the Printer Setup Utility and click the "Add" button.
Step 2: Click on "IP Printer" and select "Line Printer Daemon - LPD" for
the Protocol.
Step 3: Enter the printer IP address into the "Printer's
Address" box. Note - do not use the numbers
shown in the example. You need the correct address for the printer you
wish to use. Enter a name for the printer, then select the manufacturer in the "Print Using" box.
Step 4: Select the Model.
Step 5: If your printer has installable options, such as a Duplex-Unit or
additional paper tray, select them here. The specifications for the new HP
4250 printers are shown below.
