The Auburn voters gave their approval to the school budget this evening with 479 yes votes and 305 no votes. A quick look at the no votes paints an interesting picture with 143 indicating that they would like an increase and 159 asking for a decrease. Voter turnout in Auburn was 5.5%, Lewiston's voter turnout was 3+%.

The passage of the 2008-09 school budget will make a difference for over 3,590 Auburn students.
